April Tzedakah Box: LifeMoves
This month our Tzedakah Box proceeds will support LifeMoves, the largest and most effective nonprofit committed to ending the cycle of homelessness for families and individuals in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. LifeMoves programs teach homeless adults the life skills they need to find a rapid and lasting return to stable housing and long-term self-sufficiency. For homeless families with children (the majority of their clients), they seek to inspire children (and their parents) to aim for higher education to increase their opportunity to earn higher wages, which will enable them to become more financially secure as adults.
Your generous donations will help break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and one of its most visible symptoms: homelessness. For more information, visit lifemoves.org.

He will weave personal memories of his father together with the timeless issues that continue in Jewish life today.

Shabbat, Apr 26th 4:00p to 6:00pRabbi Akselrad will present a program based on his new book, "Love in the Time of Corona". It is a series of approximately 100 essays written during COVID, which depict the roller coaster ride we all went through.

Distribute Breakfast at Hope’s Corner
Wednesday, Apr 30th 7:00a to 9:30aBeth Am is part of an interfaith group providing meals to Hope's Corner in Mountain View. We are in need of adult (aged 16+) volunteers to do food preparation under the direction of Hope’s Corner staff.
