Women’s Reproductive Justice Group
The Beth Am Reproductive Justice Committee aims to increase education and advocacy in matters related to reproductive health and freedom for all people to have the right to choose. We advocate for accessible and affordable family planning services and comprehensive sex education, which empowers people to make informed decisions about their bodies, sexual activities and futures. Reproductive rights are about the legal right to contraception, abortion, fertility treatment, reproductive health and access to information about one's reproductive body.
Reproductive Justice focuses on advocacy, education, and action to promote goals of reproductive freedom.

From the Religious Action Center (RAC): “Our advocacy around abortion access is inspired by the Jewish value of kavod ha’briyot, respect for individual dignity. This same sanctity underscores the vital need for medically accurate sexuality education, affordable family planning services, and high-quality maternal and women’s health care.”
IN THE NEWS: In August 2023, the Women's Reproductive Justice Group was featured in a JWeekly article about their successful post-abortion kit packing event, was coordinated in partnership with the National Council of Jewish Women, San Francisco. Read the article.
