Pursue Justice
Pursue Justice
Beth Am espouses a commitment to others not just through action but also through advocacy. While we never endorse political parties or candidates, we do tirelessly advocate for issues and policies that affect those in need.
The Pursue Justice team works to strengthen our democracy by protecting the right to vote and ensuring every voice matters. The Pursue Justice initiative focuses on non-partisan civic engagement such as fighting proposed state voter suppression laws and activities, supporting state and federal voting rights legislation, helping to reform campaign finance laws and fighting for racial equity. The team is also working to deepen the community's understanding of the democratic process, using a Jewish lens. The Pursue Justice team is eager to partner with other groups and individuals at Beth Am and in the community to further this work, and participate in actions spearheaded by Religious Action Center, Religious Action Center-CA and The Center for Common Ground.
Please join us! If you want to act for democracy or have any questions or ideas, please email bethamsocialaction@gmail.com. Or, consider joining the Pursue Justice mailing list. Contact: bethamsocialaction@gmail.com
