Justice
Congregation Beth Am strives to bring justice and peace into the world by serving the less fortunate both at and outside of Beth Am through volunteering, advocating for worthy causes and educating the community about the importance of pursuing justice. Beth Am is motivated by Jewish values, such as feeding the hungry, visiting the sick and clothing the naked, and strives to ensure that social justice is infused into all aspects of Beth Am life.
Our congregation has relationships with many local nonprofit organizations, including Community Services Agency, Life Moves, Village Harvest and Second Harvest. Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to partner for social justice work as well as learn through educational programs on a host of social justice issues and themes.
