Borrow Media From the Jewish Community Library

Jewish Community Library has all the books listed on the 2025 Modern Jewish Literature syllabus, including a Book Club in a Box set (12 print copies) of Noa Yedlin's Stockhold. (Stockholm is also available in ebook and audiobook format.) All library programs and services are offered free of charge.

Patrons who already have a Jewish Community Library account may check out print items for four weeks, and digital items through the Libby app for three weeks. Those who do not have an account may apply for Jewish Community Library borrowing privileges. In addition, patrons in Palo Alto may request print items from the main library in San Francisco, and receive them at the Library Pushcart in Palo Alto (inside the OFJCC fitness center lobby) on the following Wednesday morning (8:30 AM-1:00 PM).
