We look forward to having you join us during this High Holy Day season! This is the time of year when we hear the call of the shofar and celebrate the start of a new year. Our spirits are lifted as we are called together with friends, family and community members from all over the world for a time of reflection and renewal. See below to learn about our 2024 High Holy Day season.

Thanks for visiting our High Holy Days Welcome Center. Below, you will find resources to help make these High Holy Days both meaningful and accessible. Please note:  Services will be recorded and made available within a few days following each service.

Guest Ticket Ordering
Beth Am Book of Memory

Registration for Members and Non-Members 
There is only ONE registration form to complete this year. Members should use this form to register by Friday, September 1 for all services and for babysitting during the late morning services. Members in good standing do not need to purchase tickets, however we ask that MEMBERS REGISTER by Wednesday, September 18 to help us with our planning process. Your name badges WILL BE MAILED to you this year. Tickets are not required for children under age 21.

Ticket purchase options FOR GUESTS AND NON-MEMBERS are available through the registration form. Orders must by placed by Wednesday, September 18. Members who are interested in ordering guest tickets for their non-member friends and family to attend services, please indicate that in your registration form.

In-Person High Holy Day Services
Most High Holy Day services will be held on the Cathedral of Faith campus located at 2315 Canoas Garden Ave, San Jose. Erev Rosh Hashanah services will be held at Beth Am. Please refer to the holiday schedule for specific location information.

Shuttle Transportation
Complimentary shuttle transportation will be offered between Beth Am and Cathedral of Faith. Registration for shuttle service is required for both members and non-members. The shuttle schedule is as follows:

  • Rosh Hashanah Morning: Shuttle departs Beth Am at 9:30 AM; Return to Beth Am at end of Rosh Hashanah morning
  • Yom Kippur Kol Nidre: Shuttle departs Beth Am at 6:30 PM (includes light dinner); Return to Beth Am at end of Kol Nidre
  • Yom Kippur Morning: Shuttle departs Beth Am at 9:30 AM; Return shuttle to Beth Am at end of Yom Kippur morning
  • Yom Kippur Afternoon: Shuttle departs Beth Am at 2:30 PM; Return shuttle at end of Yom Kippur afternoon

Livestreamed High Holy Day Services
Most services will be livestreaming for those who are unable or uncomfortable with attending services in person. Look for this symbol  to identify services to be streamed. Livestreamed services will NOT be available on social media platforms. Learn more about livestreaming on our High Holy Day Streaming page. We cannot provide real time assistance with requests, but will respond when we can. Most inquiries are responded to within 1-2 days.

Beth Am's Book of Memory is once again digital this year. This book is a Beth Am tradition and a way of honoring relatives and friends who have died either in recent months or in past years. See the digital Book of Memory.
