Join the Beth Am community in our beautiful Outdoor Chapel all summer long. We’re excited to welcome congregants to the bima to share words of Torah during August. For any outdoor programming, please be sure to bring your own water bottle, sunscreen and hat, as needed.

August Schedule

  • August 2 - Jeremy Ragent
  • August 9 - Representative of Beth Am Men
  • August 16 - Representative of Beth Am Women Aleda Longwell (service followed by Tu B’Av Oneg Shabbat, sponsored by Beth Am Women and Beth Am Men)
  • August 23 - Rabbi Arthur Nemitoff will share a message on "Shared Visioning" - Watch his invitation video (service will be followed by an Oneg Shabbat)
  • August 30 - Ben Baum

The Beth Am community gathers each Friday night at 6:15 PM to welcome Shabbat. Our worship services are musical, participatory and informal in spirit; they focus on helping us experience the spiritual renewal, peace, joy and sense of celebration that Shabbat can bring.

If you attend virtually, please join the livestream starting at 6:15 PM. You may follow along in our texts for the Erev (evening) Shabbat service using the digital version (available for purchase) of the Mishkan T'filah: A Reform Siddur.

To enhance your enjoyment of Shabbat, please visit betham.org/shabbatcorner (including "Social Stories" in the Resource Box to prepare children ahead of time for what to expect during the Shabbat service).

*These services will be livestreamed. By entering the Outdoor Chapel, you give Beth Am permission to record you.
