Led by Congregant Uriela Ben-Yaakov
Parents and grandparents are invited to attend and learn how to become warm and dependable allies to our beloved teens.
This is an interactive class during which we will explore valuable tools, based in listening and being listened to, that will help us to develop our attention and capacity to listen well to young people and offer them a safe place to share their joys and struggles.
Uriela has been involved in Hand in Hand, a non-profit organization for supporting parents and their families, for 33 years. She has taught numerous classes and given workshops to parents, grandparents, teachers and camp counselors. She is a parent of three adult children and grandparent of seven, ranging in ages 2 to 17.
Dinner will be served. Please use the form below to register for the series.
