
Responding to Campus Antisemitism and Hate: Erev Shabbat Service With Guest Speaker Beth Holtzman

6:15 PM - 7:30 PMSanctuary* and LivestreamedDuring our Erev Shabbat service, come hear from Beth Holtzman, Western States Civil Rights Counsel at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). She will be speaking about Responding to Campus antisemitism and Hate.
In her capacity, Beth oversees ADL’s civil rights work in 10 states and advises eight of ADL’s regional offices. Prior to joining ADL, Beth was an associate at a civil rights and workers’ rights law firm in Oakland, California. She previously worked at Essential Access Health, where she assisted with litigation regarding proposed regulations to the Title X family planning program and as a Dorot Legal Fellow at the Alliance for Justice in Washington, D.C., where she researched judicial nominees.
Beth received her JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and her BA from the University of California, Berkeley. During law school, Beth worked at ADL in Los Angeles as a law clerk and at the ACLU’s Program on Freedom of Religion & Belief. Beth is also a proud Beth Am alumna and celebrated her Bat Mitzvah, Confirmation and wedding with the Beth Am community.
