Beth Am Women (BAW) invites all women in our congregation to join for spirits and hors d'oeuvres as we honor our BAW volunteers and board members. Join Beth Am Women and the Beth Am Women’s Reproductive Justice Group in supporting tzedek recipient National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), San Francisco.
NCJW is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.
We will be collecting these items for the next Beth Am Reproductive Justice/NCJW post abortion care kit packing event (Sunday, August 20, 2:00 PM):
- tea bags (boxes must contain individually wrapped tea bags)
- maxi pads
- small chocolates (individually wrapped
- instant hot packs (similar to these)
This event is free, but we encourage you to consider making a voluntary donation to NCJW- Reproductive Justice and/or Beth Am Women when you register.
