Chanukah, also known as "The Festival of Lights,” commemorates the triumph of light over darkness, the possibility of unlikely victories, and the fundamental value of hope that lies at the core of Jewish tradition. Today, the holiday reminds Jews to rededicate themselves to bring light into the darkest corners of our world and to remain proud of their Jewish heritage. • 3:30 PM | Beit Kehillah: Festival of Lights Chanukah Party: Tot Celebration With Jewish Baby Network — Join Jewish Baby Network's Carol Booth for a community menorah candle lighting. REGISTER

Thursday, December 19:

• 6:00 PM | BATY Lounge: BAJY Throwback Chanukah Party
  Calling all 6th-8th Graders! Join your BAJY friends for an awesome throwback Chanukah celebration. REGISTER

Wednesday, December 25: 1st Night ♦

• EARLIER START TIME! 5:00 PM | Beit Kehillah: Beth Am's Chanukah Extravaganza: Yule at the Shul
  Come together for candle lighting, song, silliness, and a special kickoff of the first night of Chanukah. REGISTER by Sunday, December 22.

Friday, December 27: 3rd Night ♦♦♦

• 6:15 PM | Sanctuary: Erev Shabbat Chanukah Service
  Bring your own chanukiyah and four candles as we celebrate the third night of Chanukah together during our Erev Shabbat service.
• 7:30 PM | Social Hall: Chanukah Celebration Continues
  Following the service, join for a festive Chanukah celebration, complete with latkes and sufganiyot!

Sunday, December 29: 5th Night ♦♦♦♦♦

• 3:30 PM | Member Homes: Youth Education Chanukah in Homes
  Building from our fan-favorite Shabbat in Homes events, we're excited to invite Youth Education families to celebrate a night of Chanukah in one another's homes. REGISTER by Monday, December 23.
