Erev Shabbat Service
Friday, September 24, 2021 • 18 Tishrei 5782
6:15 PM - 7:30 PMOutdoor Chapel & Livestream (betham.org/streaming)The Beth Am community gathers each Friday night at 6:15 PM to welcome Shabbat. Our worship services are musical, participatory and informal in spirit; they focus on helping us experience the spiritual renewal, peace, joy and sense of celebration that Shabbat can bring.
On this Erev Shabbat, Consecration students who are beginning our Youth Education program and teens who have become B’nei Mitzvah over the past two years will receive a special blessing. The service will be followed by a festive Sukkot Oneg Shabbat.
If you attend virtually, please join at betham.org/streaming or on our YouTube channel or on the Beth Am Facebook page, starting at 6:15 PM. If you miss the 6:15 PM livestream (or a later time works better for you), a simulated broadcast of the service will repeat at 8:00 PM on betham.org/streaming. You may follow along in our texts for the Erev (evening) Shabbat service using the online version of the Mishkan T'filah: A Reform Siddur.
To enhance your enjoyment of Shabbat, please visit betham.org/shabbatcorner (including "Social Stories" in the Resource Box to prepare children ahead of time for what to expect during the Shabbat service).
*This service will be live video streamed. By entering the Sanctuary, you give Beth Am permission to record you.
